Day 01:
Arrival at Delhi
You will be welcomed by our company representative at Delhi
International airport.
The representative will escort you to the hotel in an
air-conditioned, luxurious vehicle.
Relax and unwind for the night.
Delhi is a city of contrasts where the remnants of glorious
past still exist and are well preserved with newer section of
the city which is getting modernized with passage of time.
Delhi, the city which has seen ascent and descent of several
dynasties, is the ideal point to commence your journey to this
fascinating land full of innumerable characteristics covering
everything from historic monuments and old markets to latest
gizmos and modern architecture.
Exploring this beautiful land can surely turn out to be a
fascinating and learning experience.
Go shopping at the cottage industries emporium market in
Janpath for handicrafts.
Relax at the hotel swimming pool.
Check out the city's happening night life at a discotheque or
pub.
 
Day 02:
Delhi
Indulge yourself in buffet breakfast at the hotel and be
prepared for a city tour of Delhi. Our sight seeing tour is
comprehensively planned covering both old and New Delhi. The
rustic charm of the old city leaves you spell bounded and New
Delhi gives a feel of India's progressiveness.
Old Delhi - Vision of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan,
Shahjahanabad now known as Old Delhi has ruins of disintegrating
walls and ancient havelis, which takes you back to the times of
royal yesteryears when the city was invaded and ruled by
different dynasties. Enjoy a captivating rickshaw ride through
the narrow lanes of Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk, savor the
delicacies these both places are famous for and visit one of the
major attractions of Delhi, the Red Fort.
New Delhi - Skyscrapers, glittering shopping malls,
happening parties and business centers
Delhi is a true
reflection of modern India. Get glimpses of modern Delhi
including a visit to Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar and a pleasant
drive across the green and pastured lanes of monumental India
Gate and the Parliament House.
After relaxing for some time at Connaught Place we proceed to
witness the fascinating Light and Sound Show or Parsi Anjuman
Dance Show. Dinner at the restaurant / hotel. Overnight stay at
Delhi.
Roam the Connaught Place market and shop for souvenirs and
other local specialities.
Day 03:
Delhi - Agra (By road)
Breakfast will be served either in your room or in the
beautiful dining room.
After breakfast, we depart for Agra by road. The 203Kms (3.5
hrs) drive is gratifying.
Passing through lush green field, witness many small yet very
beautiful villages en route.
If time permits, we will stop by at a village to introduce you
to the down to earth lifestyle of these tiny villages and
simplicity of its inhabitants.
Check in at the hotel.
Situated on the west bank of the Yamuna River, Agra is just 200
km away from Delhi. The extensive sightseeing tour allows the
visitors to explore the two facets of this splendid city. The
part of the city, north of the fort near the main Kinari Bazaar
market provides you a glimpse of old Agra. Modern part of town
is the cantonment area towards the south part of Agra. Many
handicraft shops and restaurants are present in this area and
this area is a perfect place to chill out. The monuments built
of snow white marble and bright red stone adorns the city like
beautiful jewels. Be enthralled to see massive Agra Fort and
stroll through the lanes to explore marvelous monuments like
Itmad-ud-daulah, Chini-ka-rauza, Jama Masjid and Akbar's
Mausoleum. Relish yourself with sumptuous variety of Mughlai
delicacies.
Evening will be free for leisure activities. Dinner and night
stay at Agra.
Take a ride through the busy streets of Agra and observe the
people go about their daily activity.
Visit the bazaar and shop known for local specialties such as a
miniature replica of the Taj Mahal.
Day 04:
Agra
You will be served finger licking delicacies from rich Mughlai
cuisine for breakfast, after which enjoy a pleasant drive to the
Taj parking place. Then visit the monument that exemplifies
love, Taj Mahal, either by Tonga ride or battery operated Bus
from here.
Taj Mahal - listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the World was
built by King Shah Jahan and is devoted to his second wife,
Mumtaj Mahal.
Our next destination is Agra Fort- a UNESCO world heritage
site. It is a huge red sandstone fort constructed by Akbar in
1525 AD. It houses many buildings inside it, mostly built by
Emperor Shah Jahan. It is the same place where Aurangzeb
imprisoned his father, Emperor Shah Jahan.
Then visit Baby Taj - The interiors of this monument are
considered better than the flawless Taj. Later visit Sikandra,
Jama Masjid, Chini ka Roza, Mariyam's Tomb and Ram Bagh.
Overnight will be at Agra. Visit to a marble handicrafts
emporium. Dine at a Mughlai restaurant.
 
Day 05:
Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur
Relish mouth watering breakfast at the hotel. We then embark
our journey to the colorful city, Jaipur. It lies at a distance
of 222 km (4.5 hrs) from Agra. We will pass through lush green
fields and countryside; giving you an opportunity to explore the
spirit and charm of old India that still exists in its tiny
villages.
We then visit deserted Fatehpur Sikri. Situated at a distance
of 38 kms from Agra, this beautiful city of Fatehpur Sikri, was
built by Emperor Akbar during 16th century in gratitude towards
Sufi Saint, Sheikh Salim Chisti. Now mostly in rubbles, the city
provides an insight of the life style during the glorious Mughal
period. The city has a large number of monuments and temples
built in a uniform architectural style. The famous monuments
include the massive Buland Darwaza - known as the largest
gateway in the world. Leave Fatehpur Sikri and drive to reach Jaipur. Reach by noon and check in at the hotel.
Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan is the perfect
starting point for your discovery of Rajasthan's multihued
facets. The city was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II of
the Kachchawaha dynasty from the nearby city of Amber. Amber was
the former capital of the state. With the passage of time and
the expansion of the city to accommodate the ever increasing
population, Amber today is a part of this colorful city. The
city has been able to preserve its traditions and culture
despite adapting new technologies and infusion of westernized
ideas. The city is a beautiful amalgamation of present and the
glorious past. The capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur with its
imposing forts, palaces and temples attract flocks of tourists
and will remain one of the important tourist destinations of
Indian future as well. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.
Shop for exquisite jewelry and semi precious stones at Jauhari
Bazaar.
Visit a midnight Movie and theatre nearby.
Day 06:
Jaipur
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, the aroma and flavor of
which will surely leave your appetite asking for more, we
proceed for a tour to the opulent Amber Fort. Enjoy Elephant
back ascent to the hilltop fort.
Amber Fort - It is a hilltop fort whose foundation was laid by
Raja Man Singh in 1592. It is situated at a distance of 11 km
from Jaipur. The fort is built in typical Rajput style of
architecture. The opulent palace is situated on a hillside and
overlooks a lake offering beautiful reflection of its terraces
and ramparts on its crystal clear water.
Hawa Mahal - Known as the palace of the winds, this magnificent
pink sandstone building was erected by Maharaja Sawai Pratap
Singh in 1799. This 5 storey building was originally constructed
as a platform for the ladies of the royal family to enable them
to watch everyday proceedings on the streets below. This
beautiful landmark now houses a museum and is a major attraction
of Jaipur.
City Palace - A beautiful palace showcasing a perfect mixture
of Rajasthani and Mughal style of architecture is situated in
the heart of the old city. The City Palace is a huge complex and
inside its huge walls, it has a series of courtyards, lush
gardens and buildings. A part of this building still serves as
residence of the royal family.
Jaigarh Fort - Built to strengthen the defense mechanism of
Amer, the Jaigarh Fort is an invincible structure. It lies at a
distance of 15 km from the city. Lying in the midst of
thorn-scrub hills, the fort has all the features typical of a
fortress.
Evening will be free for leisure. Dinner and overnight stay
will be at Jaipur.
Go shopping at MI Road and around Hawa Mahal.
Dinner at the Turban Museum / Spice Court / Chokhi Dhani
Village.
Day 07:
Jaipur - Delhi (Dsitance 250 Kms / Drive Time : 5 Hrs)
Breakfast at hotel and drive down to Delhi.
Arrival at Delhi and transfer to the international airport for
flight home.
Tour culminates with sweet memories of your trip of North
India.
