Day 01:
Arrival at Delhi
On arriving Delhi, you will be received by our company
representative at the airport.
Transfer to hotel.
Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 02:
Delhi
After enjoying a sumptuous breakfast, proceed for a
sight-seeing tour of Delhi.
Visit the monuments like Red Fort, Qutab Minar and Jantar
Mantar that are testimonies of the bygone era. Explore the
narrow lanes of famous Chandni Chowk on a cycle rickshaw and
enjoy the street food it is renowned for.
Also visit New Delhi and see the magnificent buildings built
during British Raj like India Gate, the President's House and
Parliament House.
Set off for an excursion to newly built beautiful Akshardham
Temple.
Night stay will be in Delhi.
Day 03:
Delhi - Agra (By road)
Morning depart for Shekhawati town and Bagar.
The typical havelis in Shekhawati consist of two courtyards, an
outer one for the men which serves as an extended threshold and
the inner one serves women. The biggest ones sometimes had three
or four courtyards and two to three stories high.
On arrival, transfer to hotel.
Evening will be free at leisure.
Night stay in Bagar.
Day 04:
Agra
Post breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Nawalgarh.
Built in 1737, it has good number of well maintained havelis
adorned with marvelous frescoes depicting mythological themes.
Also visit Mandawa. It is situated in the heart of Shekhawati
region and is known for its fort, havelis and baolis. The city
is very famous and is an important destination in every
itinerary of Rajasthan.
Overnight stay in Bagar.
Day 05:
Agra - Jaipur (By road)
After relishing a hearty breakfast, drive to Bikaner.
On the way, visit Kheechan village known for the migratory
birds. Arrive Bikaner, transfer to hotel. Check in at hotel.
Visit the majestic Junagarh fort. Also visit Rat Temple at
Deshnok, a temple dedicated to Karnimata, an incarnation of
Goddess Durga.
Proceed to the prestigious camel breeding farm.
Overnight stay will be in Bikaner.
Later visit Lallgarh Palace and Fort Museum.
Night stay will be in Bikaner.
Day 06:
Jaipur
In morning proceed for the city tour of Jaisalmer.
The lively desert city was founded in 1156 by Rawal Jaisal, a
Bhatti ruler. Situated in the heart of vast Thar Desert, it is
famous for its forts and palaces that are perfect blend of
ancient and medieval style of architecture.
On arrival, transfer on camels to desert camp in a village
outside Jaisalmer.
Spend the rest of the day in rustic desert atmosphere.
Overnight stay will be in desert camp.
Day 07:
Jaipur - Bundi (By road)
After breakfast, drive back to Jaisalmer city and transfer to
hotel.
Check in at hotel. Proceed for the sight-seeing tour of
Jaisalmer.
Visit the imposing Jaisalmer fort, Patwom ki Haveli, Nath Ji
Mal Ki Haveli and Salim Ji ki Haveli, all famous for their
brilliant architecture.
Also visit the Jain Temples. Evening will be free for folk
entertainment.
Overnight stay will be in Jaisalmer.
Day 08:
Bundi
Morning, drive through desert landscape with brief halts at
Kheechan (a small village where you can see beautiful migratory
Demoiselle Cranes) and at Osian village (an ancient town
renowned for a cluster of ruined Brahmanical and Jain Temples
dating from 8th to 11th century).
The most important temples are the Surya or Sun Temple and the
Sachiya Mata Temple. Arrive Jodhpur and transfer to hotel.
At Jodhpur visit old markets around Clock Tower.
Night stay in Jodhpur.
Day 09:
Bundi - Bijaipur (By road)
After enjoying the sumptuous breakfast, proceed for a half day
jeep safari to tribal village of Bishnoi villages to see the
sincere endeavor of the community towards environment
conservation.
Later back at Jodhpur and proceed for a city tour of Jodhpur.
Built by Rao Jodha of Rathore clan in 1459, it is the renowned
for splendid forts and palaces.
Visit the magnificent Mehrangarh fort spread over 5 kms of
land.
It also houses a museum. Later visit Jaswant Thada - a memorial
built in remembrance of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.
Also visit Umaid public gardens and Umaid Bhawan Palace museum.
Night stay in Jodhpur.
Day 10:
Bijaipur - Chittaurgarh (By road)
Post breakfast, drive to Kumbhalgarh. En-route, visit Ranakpur
Jain Temples known for their beautiful architecture and
intricate carvings.
Reach Kumbhalgarh and transfer to hotel.
Check in at hotel. Kumbhalgarh is a beautiful situated amidst
beautiful environs.
Proceed to visit the Kumbhalgarh fort built by Rana Kumbha. It
is a great defensive fortress built on the top of a hill
overlooking the approaches from Ajmer and Marwar.
Overnight stay will be in Kumbhalgarh. |
