02: DelhiVisit the monuments like Red Fort, Qutab Minar and Jantar Mantar that are testimonies of the bygone era. Day 03: New Delhi - Bagar (By surface) The typical havelis in Shekhawati consist of two courtyards, an outer one for the men which serves as an extended threshold and the inner one serves women. Day 04: Bagar Also visit Mandawa. It is situated in the heart of Shekhawati region and is known for its fort, havelis and baolis. Day 05: Bagar - Bikaner (By surface) After relishing a hearty breakfast, drive to Bikaner. On the way, visit Kheechan village known for the migratory birds. Day 06: Bikaner - Jaisalmer (By surface) The lively desert city was founded in 1156 by Rawal Jaisal, a Bhatti ruler. Day 07: Jaisalmer Proceed for the sight-seeing tour of Jaisalmer. Visit the imposing Jaisalmer fort, Patwom ki Haveli, Nath Ji Mal Ki Haveli and Salim Ji ki Haveli. Day 08: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur (By surface) The most important temples are the Surya or Sun Temple and the Sachiya Mata Temple. Arrive Jodhpur and transfer to hotel. At Jodhpur visit old markets around Clock Tower. Day 09: Jodhpur . Later back at Jodhpur and proceed for a city tour of Jodhpur. Built by Rao Jodha of Rathore clan in 1459, it is the renowned for splendid forts and palaces. Day 10: Jodhpur - Kumbhalgarh (By surface) En-route, visit Ranakpur Jain Temples known for their beautiful architecture and intricate carvings. Day 11: Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur (By surface) At sunset, enjoy a boat trip over Lake Pichhola. Overnight stay will be in Udaipur. Day 12: Udaipur Morning proceed for an excursion of the city. Known as the city of lakes, it was founded in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh. Day 13: Udaipur - Dungarpur (By surface) Later in the afternoon, proceed to visit Juna Mahal Palace. Day 14: Dungarpur - Bijaipur (By surface) Proceed for an excursion to Chittaur Fort. It is a massive fort built by later Maurya rulers in 7th century A.D. Day 15: Bijaipur - Kota (By surface) Morning depart for Kota. En-route, visit the ruined temple towns of Menal and Bijoliyan. Day 16: Kota . Kota is a perfect blend of past and present. Proceed for a city tour of Kota. Day 17: Kota - Ranthambhore (By surface) Ranthambhore is a famous national park and the best place in the country to spot the national animal of India, Tiger. Day 18: Ranthambhore Post breakfast, enjoy the Jungle safari in National Park. Day 19: Ranthambhore - Pushkar (By surface) Arrive Pushkar and transfer to hotel. Visit the famous Savitri Temple and Pushkar Lake and Brahma temple- the only temple in the India dedicated to Lord Brahma. Day 20: Pushkar - Jaipur (By surface) In the evening explore the narrow lanes of Jaipur and get a glimpse of the lifestyle and culture of most colorful city of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Day 21: Jaipur After relishing the sumptuous breakfast, set for an excursion to the imposing Amber Fort. It is a magnificent fort constructed by Raja Man Singh in 1592. Day 22: Jaipur - Neemrana (By surface) Reach Neemrana and check in at hotel. Relax and unwind. Day 23: Neemrana - New Delhi - Departure (By surface) Arrive Delhi and transfer to Indira Gandhi International airport for onward journey. |
