Day 01:
Delhi
Arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport - Delhi followed
by a traditional welcome rituals and transfer to hotel.
Delhi is a fast growing capital city of India. Being the centre
of political activities from many centuries, it has been gifted
with many architectural marvels by several rulers. A perfect
potpourri of varied cultures, it is a fascinating blend of
modernity and tradition. The rich cultural and historical
heritage of Delhi makes it a very interesting city to explore.
Over night stay at Delhi.
 
Day 02:
Delhi
Post breakfast; proceed for the sightseeing tour of Delhi
extensively covering both Old and New Delhi.
Visit the monuments of New Delhi covering Qutab Minar, Humayuns
Tomb that are testimonies of the bygone era and also visit Bahai
Lotus Temple.
Lunch at local restaurant. Proceed towards Old Delhi exploring
the narrow lanes of famous Chandni Chowk and photo-stop at Red
Fort.
Drive past the magnificent buildings built during British Raj
like India Gate, the President's House and Parliament House.
Enjoy Cultural Dance Show in the evening showcasing various
classical performances of different states of India.
Over night stay at Delhi.
 
Day 03:
Delhi - Agra (203 km, Approx 4 Hrs drive)
After an early breakfast at Hotel, depart for Agra.
On arrival, transfer to hotel for check-in.
Post lunch, visit the marvelous Taj Mahal. Built entirely out
of pristine marble, Taj Mahal is an architectural marvel with
beautiful carvings, magnificent domes and marble screens. It is
a mausoleum erected by Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, in fond
memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal. Drive to the Red Fort
of Agra where we will visit Emperor Akbars and his
grandson Emperor Shahjahans palaces.
In evening explore the handicrafts markets of Agra.
Over night stay at Agra.
 
Day 04:
Agra - Gwalior (120 km, 1 hour by train)
After breakfast, transfer to railway station to board Shatabdi
Express to Gwalior.
Visit Gwalior Fort and Scindiya Palace Museum.
Gwalior is a perfect blend of historical singularity and
subtle modern trimmings. Situated in the state of Madhya
Pradesh, it is renowned for its rich variety of ancient
monuments. Some of the famous tourist attractions of Gwalior are
Gwalior Fort, Man Mandir, Teli-ka-Mandir, Sun Temple, Tomb of
Tansen and Tigra Dam.
Over night stay at Gwalior.
Day 05:
Gwalior - Jhansi (120 km, 1.30 hour by train) - Orchha -
Khajuraho (180 km, approx 4 hours drive)
After breakfast, transfer to railway station to board Shatabdi
Express to Jhansi. Arrival and proceed by road to Orchha. Lunch
at Orchha Resort. Proceed to visit Orchha Mahal and Ram Mandir
located on the banks of Betwa River.
Further on, drive to Khajuraho, to view the intricate carvings
of the exquisite 1,000-year-old temples of Khajuraho.
Check in at Hotel.
Over night stay at Khajuraho.
 
Day 06:
Khajuraho
Khajuraho, the land of erotic temples, is a small village,
built in 'Nagara' style of architecture. There were a total of
85 temples built but only 22 of them have survived the cruelty
of harsh weather and time. It is a world renowned archeological
site.
After breakfast, proceed for a full day sight seeing tour
covering western & eastern sects of the temples. Evening
light & sound show at western sect.
Over night stay at Khajuraho.
 
Day 07:
Khajuraho - Varanasi
Morning transfer to airport to board flight to Varanasi.
Arrival and transfer to Hotel.
Varanasi is known as city of enlightenment and it is one of the
most important pilgrimage sites of India. Considered as the
holiest city by Hindus, the city is a pulsating commercial,
religious and education center. Be prepared to envisage the
calmness and solace this city offers. This city is known as the
oldest living city in the world.
Evening boat cruise at River Ganges witnessing devotees
partaking in evening worship and attend a sunset flower
ceremony.
Over night stay at Varanasi.
Day 08:
Varanasi
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to the famous Sarnath
Temples.
Post lunch, enjoy a local city tour of Varanasi visiting a few
of the world renowned temples.
Also visit the Ramnagar Fort Museum.
Varanasi, said to be one of the most ancient city of the world,
since time memorial is a great center of learning. Situated on
the banks of River Ganges, it is known as cultural capital of
India. The holy cities of Hindus, Varanasi is dotted with
numerable temples and ghats.
 
Day 09:
Varanasi - Allahabad - Varanasi (135 km, approx 3 hours drive)
After breakfast, advance for a full day excursion to Allahabad.
East of Allahabad is the junction of the rivers the Holy rivers
Yamuna, Ganges and the mythical Saraswati.
Call into the Anand Bhawan Museum, the boyhood home of the
first prime minister of independent India.
Return to Varanasi hotel.
Over night stay at Varanasi.
Day 10:
Varanasi - Delhi (by flight)
After breakfast, check-out from hotel.
Transfer to airport to board flight to Delhi to connect to
international connecting flight home (as per flight schedule)
